Pune (Maharashtra), July 24 (ANI): 85-year-old granny from Pune has caught country’s attention after her Lathi-Kathi art video went viral on internet. From the age of 8, Shantabai Pawar has been performing ancient form of Indian martial art. “I am 85 years old and I do it every day because I don’t want anything to happen to my grandchildren. I could not study and make career due to circumstances but I want my grandchildren to study and for that I perform on streets,” Shantabai said. Shantibai Pawar belongs to Dombari community a nomadic tribe from Maharashtra which is known for performing stunts on streets for their survival. Several personalities including Sonu Sood, Riteish Deshmukh have also praised her for her talent.
