Anantnag (Jammu and Kashmir), June 26 (ANI): Brigadier Vijay Mahadevan, Commander of 1 Sector Rashtriya Rifles, informed about the Tral encounter in which three terrorists were neutralised. “Yesterday evening, we received a specific intelligence input from Jammu and Kashmir Police about the presence of unidentified terrorists in the village Chiwa near Tral,” informed Brigadier Vijay Mahadevan. “Today morning when terrorists tried to escape from a house they were neutralised in the gunfight. We attempted to induce their surrender but they refused. 3 terrorists were neutralised today morning. During this entire operation no civilians were injured or harm,” the Brigadier added. The encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in Jammu & Kashmir’s Pulwama district. Encounter took place at Chewa Ullar in Tral area of Awantipora on June 26.
