Srinagar (J&K), Sep 24 (ANI): Samar Shawl, a 24-year-old woman from Srinagar, has set an example for aspiring entrepreneurs by starting a unique business of home delivering gift hampers in the valley, and has already found success in a short span of time. Samar, who was good at packing gifts with decorative articles since childhood, came up with this business idea during her MBA degree course from Islamic University of Science and Technology, Awantipora. Explaining about her start-up, Samar said people take time off to attend special events, and to ensure that they don’t waste good amount of time on choosing gifts for the special occasion, she came up with the idea of delivering gift hampers directly to the doorstep of people. Samar has an account by the name of ‘Ribbons by Samal Shawl’ on Instagram and Facebook from where she takes orders, and has categorised the gift wrapping into basic, premium and elite to fit into the budget of her clients to whom she engages directly on phone once the order is placed.
