16-year-old Manipur artist conferred Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar

Imphal (Manipur), 28 Jan (ANI): 16-year-old Venice Keisham of Manipur has been conferred with the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2021 for outstanding work in the field of Arts. Along with the rest of the awardees, Venice Keisham joined the interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi via video conferencing on 25th January. Prime Minister Modi praised the winners and said they should never stop working and stay humble all the time. Keisham’s mother said that she discovered Keisham’s love for painting when she was just three years old. She has bagged several awards including three International level, ten national level awards, and 300 state awards so far. Keisham is currently in class 11 at Kendriya Vidyalaya Langjing.
