15-yr-old stages own kidnapping, demands 50 crore ransom: Meerut Police

Meerut (UP), Nov 04 (ANI): A 15-year-old boy staged his own abduction in Meerut and demanded ransom of Rs 50 crore from his family. Police and STF found him on November 03. SSP Ajay Kumar Sahani said, “He lived with his father, stepmother and two sisters. He was disturbed with the situation, wanted to leave home with his sisters and live somewhere else. Rs 9.31 Lakhs recovered from him. He himself had planned this, had sent a text message to his sister for the money and also left a letter for it. Further action is being taken. Child Welfare Committee informed. He's being presented before court. His father being questioned”
