Kottayam (Kerala), Jan 06 (ANI): Amid pandemic, another scare in name of bird flu is coming out as a threat in parts of the country. Kerala is on high alert as bird flu cases were confirmed in Kottayam and Alappuzha districts. Kottayam DC, M Anjana informed that 10, 000 ducklings with bird flu have been identified in Neendoor Panchayat, and all of them will be culled in two days. She further informed that process to test humans for the same has been started. “Bird flu has been detected in the ducklings of one of the farmers in the Neendoor panchayat. All 10,000 birds in the area will be culled. The process to test humans to detect symptoms in them has also been started,” said Kottayam DC M Anjana.
