Sabarimala temple reopens for monthly pooja

Sabarimala (Kerala)/ Katra (Jammu and Kashmir): Aug 16 (ANI): The Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple in Kerala has reopened for monthly ‘pooja’ of ‘Chingam’. The monthly ‘pooja’ will start from tomorrow (August 17) morning without the presence of devotees in wake of COVID-19. On the other hand, Vaishno Devi Yatra in Jammu and Kashmir resumed from August 16. The temples were closed due to lockdown in the view of coronavirus pandemic.
