The 77th Independence Day was celebrated in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district with high esteem, patriotic spirit and great enthusiasm by saluting and hoisting the tricolour.
By hoisting tricolour and distributing sweets, the labourers and engineers at the Ram Janmabhoomi complex in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya on Tuesday celebrated the 77th Independence Day in charm.
The Indian Tricolour was hoisted onboard the indigenously designed and built Guided Missile Destroyer INS Visakhapatnam and the fleet tanker INS Deepak at Manama, Bahrain to commemorate the 77th Independence Day.
The Chief Minister also mentioned that the State had suffered a lot of damage due to excessive rains. He expressed grief over the deaths caused by the incessant rains and offered his condolences to the families of the bereaved families.

On the occasion of 77th Independence Day, Jammu and Kashmir LG Manoj Sinha recalled that three years ago he had shared his dream of making a new Jammu and Kashmir in which there is modernity and spirituality.
