As the 76th Independence Day is around the corner, the General Post Office, Kolkata is gearing up for 'Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan 2.0' by selling the Tricolour for Rs 25 and spread the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of people.
The Indian diasporas were seen raising slogans like "Bharat Mata ki jai", "Vande Mataram", "Long Live India" and "Khalistan Murdabad", and carried placards, written, "Khalistani are not Sikh", and "Canada stop supporting Khalistani Canadian terrorists".
According to police, a person with the Twitter handle 'Shafeeq 2.0' used an image from the Sidhi urination incident and doctored it to insult the Indian flag.

During Bhoop Singh's funeral procession, villagers took out a tricolour procession honouring him. They cried 'Long live Bhup Singh' (Bhup Singh Amar Rahe) while taking out the procession. Most of the shops in his village were shut to mourn the deceased constable.
