A team from the Crime Branch of Delhi Police arrested a convicted narcotics trafficker and absconder, who was trying to escape to Bangladesh from India-Bangladesh Border near Dinhata, West Bengal.
Busting an armed robbery case within 24 hours, Delhi Police arrested four robbers and also recovered the looted amount, the Delhi police informed on Saturday.
"The situation is peaceful now and till now we have arrested 56 people. The accused are being identified with the help of CCTV footage," Krushikesh Rawale, ASP, Jalgaon said.
Muntzeer Tyagi, a gangster of the Salman Tyagi-Saddam Hussain gang, was arrested from Uttar Pradesh's Khurja on Wednesday by Delhi police special cell, said a police official.
