India's permanent representative to the United Nations (UN) Ruchira Kamboj has said Chandrayaan-3’s successful landing on the Moon is a historic moment for humanity as “we venture into uncharted territory near the moon's South Pole”.
As India scripted history on Wednesday, with the Chandryaan-3 successfully performing a soft landing on the moon, Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw congratulated the Indian scientists on their success.
“This is definitely a proud moment for the country, proud of Chandrayaan, ISRO and whole scientists, this achievement happened because of them...", Sinha said on the successful landing of ISRO's third lunar mission Chandrayaan-3.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar congratulated the ISRO scientists on the success of Chandrayaan-3 and said that it was a moment of great pride and joy for the entire country.
“What an incredible moment! Congratulations to @isro for the successful landing of #Chandrayaan3 on the moon this morning. Today, India became the first country to successfully achieve a soft landing on the southern polar region of the moon.” Pichai tweeted on Wednesday.
Delhi Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena commends the historic achievement as the Vikram lander and Pragyan rover successfully touch down on the uncharted South Pole of the Moon.
Calling the scientists ‘pride of the country’, Shivakumar said that the efforts of all the ISRO scientists and staff who worked hard for the project are unforgettable.
Indians will never forget August 23, 2023 as on this date our nation created history by becoming the first country to land on the South Pole of the lunar surface.
The ambitious third lunar mission of ISRO-- Chandrayaan-3 -- on Wednesday made a successful soft-landing on the moon, making India only the fourth country-- after US, China, and Russia-- to do so and the first to reach its uncharted south pole.
The union minister further hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said, “PM Modi brought in a new space policy, under which 55 spacecraft missions were launched in the last decade.”
