The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday filed a conclusive charge sheet against former Railways Minister Lalu Prasad and 77 other accused in the land for job case.
Delhi's Rouse Avenue court on Friday directed the Joint Director (ED) to appear with relevant case records and to apprise the status of the investigation on July 6 in the Land for Job money laundering case surrounding former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi.
The Rouse Avenue court directed CBI to file its conclusive charge sheet on the Land for Job case. The court also expressed its displeasure over non-filing of conclusive charge sheet despite giving time.
The Rouse Avenue Court on Wednesday dismissed the regular bail application of businessman Amit Katyal. He is charge-sheeted accused in the Land for Job money laundering case.
In this case, Rabri Devi, and her daughters Misa Bharti and Hema Yadav have been chargesheeted along with Amit Katyal and Hridyanand Chaudhary. All accused except Amit Katyal appeared through video conferencing. Katyal was exempted from appearance for today.
Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma, while disposing of the plea of ED, said, "In these peculiar facts and circumstances, this Court does not find it fit to cancel the interim bail of four weeks granted to the respondent on 05.02.2024."
