Congress MP Manish Tewari commented on the resignation of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar on Tuesday, calling the last 15 hours eventful, adding that the resignation was accepted in haste.
Congress leader Randeep Surjewala on Tuesday slammed the BJP following the resignation of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar, stating that the party has a track record of "weakening both constitutional offices and processes".

As Jagdeep Dhankhar resigned as the Vice President of India, the residents of his native village, Kithana in Rajasthan's Jhunjhunu, expressed "shock" over the decision and said his health has deteriorated.
