Sharing their experience from interaction with the EAM, at the first Global South Young Diplomats Forum, the participants acknowledged their admiration for Jaishankar's vision for issues affecting Global South. They said they were looking forward to more cooperation in the future.
The Global South leaders further highlighted the role of South-South cooperation in this regard and discussed ways to promote mutual cooperation and investments amongst the Global South countries.
The leaders also expressed their concern at the ongoing conflicts and the disproportionate adverse impact on developmental efforts in the countries of the Global South while advocating for a return to dialogue and diplomatic discussions.
S Jaishankar on Tuesday interacted with participants of the first Global South Young Diplomats Forum, stressing the need for the Global South to make its voice heard and shape outcomes on key issues of the day.
As announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the closing session of the New Delhi G20 Summit, India would be hosting a virtual G20 Leaders' Summit prior to the conclusion of India's G20 Presidency on November 22.
