Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr Jitendra Singh on Friday said that a Geological Survey team will conduct a study of the underlying factors of cracks developed in the houses in Jammu and Kashmir.
Assam Director-General of Police (DGP) GP Singh said that in the last two days, police have registered over 4000 cases across different districts of the State.
Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday informed that the crackdown against child marriages in the state would continue for the next two to three days.
While talking to the media, the Assam Chief Minister said, "Assam Police has arrested 1,800 persons in connection with child marriage-related cases across the state so far."

The other relief measures include a special rehabilitation package, a one-time special grant for the transportation of goods and immediate needs and the purchase of household items, Khurana said.
