Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday released its fourth and final list of candidates for the upcoming Chhattisgarh Assembly elections, fielding party leader Rajesh Agarwal from Ambikapur constituency against state Deputy Chief Minister TS Singh Deo
Congress leader Kuldeep Singh Juneja on Sunday expressed happiness over his name being included in the third list of candidates for the Chhattisgarh Assembly elections saying he would strive to repay the faith that the party has reposed in him.
"Filing of nominations for single-phase assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh and for 2nd phase of assembly polls in Chhattisgarh will begin this morning," a Spokesperson for the Election Commission of India (ECI) posted on X earlier in the day.

Ahead of Chhattisgarh Assembly elections, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and poll candidate Ramvichar Netam on Friday accused Congress party of denying tickets to "winning candidate".
Speaking to the media after his temple visit, Mandaviya said, "I had the darshan of Shri Danteshwari Mata here in Dantewada. I met the people here. People here are in the mood for a change, people are angry towards Bupesh Baghel's corrupt and anti-tribal government."
The Congress has so far announced 83 candidates for the 90-member Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, with the second list of 53 candidates released on Wednesday.
"When PM Modi came to power, we had promised that we would build Ram Mandir. And now Ram Mandir is under construction and in January we can all go and seek blessings from Lord Ram. Congress ruled in the country for 60 years but they did not do any work for the construction of the Ram Mandir.
The Congress on Wednesday announced the second list of 53 candidates for the Chhattisgarh Assembly elections that are due to be held in November in two phases.
