A 27-year-old man, posing as a YouTube employee, was arrested for extorting hundreds of people by threatening to release private videos. The accused had used fake identities, including a Delhi Police officer, and extorted millions from victims.
The total value of the seized items is estimated at Rs 4.75 lakh. Recently, the accused was presented before the court on February 2, where he was remanded to five days of police custody. Following further investigation, he was placed under judicial custody on February 6.
