A division bench headed by Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya, with Justice Tejas Karia, ordered the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB) to forthwith take over subways located around major hospitals and convert them into temporary night shelters with beds and basic facilities.

"The German Chancellor had his own pre-scheduled program. There was no interaction with the Chief Minister," MB Patil said. "He had just arrived from Ahmedabad. He didn't even come to the reception lounge. If there had been any interaction with the Chief Minister, he would have been there," he added.
