Toyota starts new company to develop self-driving software

New Delhi, Mar 03 (ANI): In a bid to catch up the race of self-driving cars, Toyota will invest $ 2.8 million in Toyota Research Institute-Advanced Development, or TRI-AD. The Japanese carmaker will hire 1000 employees to develop software systems to power self-driving cars. Toyota has already demonstrated TRI on a Lexus LS 600hL test vehicle. TRI-AD will be based in Tokyo.
