New Delhi, Feb 24 (ANI): After practically lifting all the star features of rival Snapchat, Instagram seems to be eyeing Pinterest's only good feature - the ability to share the collection of your favourite pins with everyone else. As discovered by tipster Jane Manchun Wong, a code buried in Instagram for Android hints at the option of creating public 'Collections', to which other users can also contribute, TechCrunch reported. Currently, if you find something interesting on your Instagram feed, you have the option to save it to your personal collection on the service. However, with the possible coming of 'Make Collection Public' option, the Facebook-owned service could give tough competition to Pinterest which is heading towards its USD 12 billion IPO. It is not clear if the feature will be rolled out to the public anytime soon. However, when it does, it will give Instagram users another way of sharing their favourite posts, while also making doing e-commerce on the platform much more seamless.
