MP CM Shivraj Chouhan launches e-car on World Environment Day

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Jun 05 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched an e-car on the occasion of World Environment Day on Tuesday. The car has been manufactured by Tata Motors and this design has been named as Tigor EV. During the event, CM Shivraj said, “The levels of pollution and carbon emission are increasing at a rapid rate with the increase in the number of cars running on petrol and diesel. Hence, in order to curb the adverse effect of petrol and diesel vehicles, a battery operated car has been introduced on the World Environment Day.”
