Mumbai, Nov 28 (ANI): The Mumbai police got a high-tech robot in its fleet for bomb disposal. The fully ‘Made in India’ robot known Mini Remotely Operated Vehicle (mROV) Rover Mark will help in the minimisation of damage in case the bomb explodes. mROV was made as part of the police modernisation plan after the dreadful 26/11 attack in which over 150 people lost their lives. The high-tech mROV has a capacity of climbing on the mountains, stairs, aircraft and ladders at 45 degrees. It can be also installed in buildings. The robot has been tested positive to be used during rainy season.
