Google's new toolkit wants parents to educate their kids about online safety

New Delhi, Oct 14 (ANI): Google started a new initiative in a bid to educate children for being safe online. The initiative has been aimed at promoting a healthier and safer environment for children on the internet. For this initiative, Google has teamed up with the National PTA and DonorsChoose.org to create a workshop kit called 'Be Internet Awesome' for parents to teach one another on initiating discussions on digital safety and citizenship. Google will also be awarding grants worth USD 1,000 to local PTAs in every state in the US to help facilitate the workshops.
