New Delhi, Nov 24 (ANI): German-based high-end camera maker, Leica opened its first showroom in India in New Delhi. Leica plans to tap the metro cities in India to compete with well ‘established’ rivals Nikon and Canon. The company also plans to collaborate with India’s top photography and designing institutes to conduct workshops to promote the brand. The company is famous worldwide for making DSLR, SLR and compact film cameras. The company is headquartered in Wetzlar, Germany.
