Facebook begins fact-checking to protect election security

New Delhi, Apr 02 (ANI): With the recent controversies including world’s one of the most popular social media Facebook, the company has decided begins fact-checking photos, videos to protect election security. Facebook announced in a blog post that to get everything in place and counter meddling elections in different parts of the world, it has started taking an initiative to check such malpractices. Four major steps by Facebook includes combating foreign interference, removing fake accounts, increasing ads transparency, reducing the spread of false news. To counter fake news, Facebook will study fake identities, facts and narratives.
