New Delhi, Jun 03 (ANI): To overcome the recent concerns over data and privacy setting social media, researchers headed by an Indian-origin researcher, have designed a new Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based algorithm which can disrupt facial recognition technology on social media platforms. The application works on two neural systems, first to recognize the face and second to disrupt the image. The tool works on disrupting facial features slightly by making it difficult for facial recognition technology to identify faces. Their analysis shows that the filter can reduce detectable image from 100 to 0.5 percent. The team now hopes to make the filter available via an app or website.
