New Delhi, Dec 31 (ANI): In order to prevent students from bunking classes, schools in China have introduced smart uniforms which track the exact location of pupils. Chinese schools are using these smart uniforms, which are washable, and come with electronic chips, ensuring higher attendance rate. The smart uniforms have chips in the shoulder to track at what time students enter or exit the school, the Verge reported. However, the technological measures don’t end here as there’s also facial recognition technology embedded at school entrance to filter proxy attendances, so that only the intended student is wearing the smart uniform. Other features include the smart uniform enduring temperature up to 150 degree Celsius, besides that it is washable. The uniform also detects if the child falls asleep during class.
