Apple removes 25,000 apps from its Chinese app store

New Delhi, Aug 21 (ANI): America-based multinational technology company, Apple had removed several gambling-related apps from its Chinese app store. This comes after it came under scrutiny amid trade tensions between Beijing and Washington. Around 25,000 apps which were suspected of facilitating gambling and illegal lotteries, have now been removed. The company was accused of allowing illegal gambling apps to proliferate. China is one of Apple’s largest markets.
