New Delhi, Mar 07 (ANI): Apple has acquired patents of an AI security camera company, Lighthouse to upgrade Face ID in its upcoming phones and devices. Apple has bought the patent portfolio of Lighthouse at the end of 2018. The patents largely deal to scan and recognise faces with using computer vision. Lighthouse's patents describe technology is quite similar to what Apple use for Face ID in iPhone XS and XR devices. It is quite possible that Apple is looking to upgrade its Face ID feature in its upcoming phones. Also, Apple could use the ability to recognise multiple users to add the long-requested ability to add several Face ID users to share a single device or phone.
