Jakarta (Indonesia), Aug 31 (ANI): India's women's 4 x 400m relay team which bagged gold at the ongoing Asian Games 2018 felt excited and claims this big achievement. Poovamma Raju Machettira, one of the team members said, “We had a good challenge from Bahrain team and we were stressed but we had only one target of giving our best. We had to win a gold medal. Silver and bronze medals weren't on our cards. We would have valued them but gold medal was much more precious, and we have done it.” Calling it a big achievement, Saritaben Laxmanbhai Gayakwad said, “Today’s achievement is very big. Hima Das and Poovamma Raju Machettira gave such a good lead that we were able to win. Otherwise we were very scared.” Velluva Koroth Vismaya said, “I am very happy and exciting. This is our team work. As Hima led the team and Poovamma Raju Machettira maintained the lead that is why it was helpful for me to finish.”
