Asian Games 2018: India’s athletics winners receive warm welcome at Delhi airport

New Delhi, Sept 01, (ANI): India’s winners in the athletics events at the ongoing 18th Asian Games have received warm welcome on their arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi. The winners felt proud for their win and happy after receiving such warm welcome. The players are eyeing for the Asian Championship and Olympics. Jinson Johnson, Gold winner in Men’s 1500m Athletics said, “I'm very happy. In 800 m India won gold & silver. I won gold in 1500 m. Overall it's a very good result. I'll prepare for upcoming championships.” Muhammad Anas, Silver winner, Men’s 4 x 400m relay said, “I’m feeling proud of myself to have won a medal for the country. My coaches and family is behind my success. My next aim will be Asian Championships and Olympics.” Sudha Singh, Silver winner in Women’s 3000 m Steeplechase, said, “I am very happy with the win. I want to thank the Sports authority of India and railways. My next aim is World Cup.”
