Background dancers facing hardships to meet ends during COVID-19 lockdown

New Delhi, May 18 (ANI): Bollywood background dancers working in Delhi are struggling to make their ends meet during COVID-19 lockdown. They are not allowed for any social gathering or to do performance in any show due to coronavirus pandemic. While speaking to ANI, one of the choreographers said, "Everyone is facing the problem. Government need to understand that public is at home because of the contribution of artists as they are entertaining the public. Our biggest problem is money and everything is related to money like buying of groceries and other utilities. We usually earn Rs 30,000-40,000 but now, it is difficult to survive. Most of us are disturbed because of money." One of the dancers said, "It is difficult for us to survive." The extended lockdown will continue till May 31.
