New Delhi, Jul 12 (ANI): Copyright, royalty, identity theft and lack of acknowledgment of source are the biggest problems faced by people who use public platforms to display their talent. Video being replicated, music being stolen and used under other names and more such issues plague an open platform where access is free and moderately monitored. YouTube is a video based platform which is taking a step forward in a move to curb this menace. YouTube is releasing a new tool called Copyright Match tool to let creators keep a check if their videos are being stolen and take relevant action against it. The tool is set to be rolled out to creators with over 100,000 subscribers next week onwards. The tool will effectively notify creators if there are copies of their original videos surfacing on the platform without due credit.
