Electronics Export Council CEO stresses India’s push for self-reliant electronics manufacturing

New Delhi, November 17, 2025(ANI): At 8th annual CII Electronics Summit, Gurmeet Singh, Executive Director & CEO at Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council, said, "It's a timely and important event being organised by the CII... It is high time. The electronics industry is looking forward, and we are all geared up to replicate our IT success story into the electronics manufacturing and exports. Deliberations like these forums certainly bring together brainstorming, how to move forward, how to scale up, what is happening, and what all needs to be done..."He added, "...Thanks to the very active and very prompt support from the government of India... For the first time, we have seen one after another support incentive programs or government announcements that are timely and very effective, turning heads toward manufacturing in the electronics industry. A lot more investors and entrepreneurs are coming forward to replicate our story in electronic manufacturing. They are hopeful of succeeding, opening new partnerships and joint ventures, and finding ways to make India self-reliant in electronics manufacturing in the years to come..."
