New Delhi, Feb 17 (ANI): American multinational retail corporation Walmart is in talks to buy a stake of at least 40 percent in Indian e-commerce firm Flipkart, in a direct challenge to Amazon.com. If confirmed, this would be one of Walmart's biggest overseas deals ever with Flipkart seen valued at more than the $12 billion. It would give the world's largest brick-and-mortar retailer access to e-commerce in a nation where Amazon is investing 5-billion-dollars to expand aggressively. It also offers Walmart the opportunity to look beyond its core market.
