Bhopal (MP)/ Khargone (MP), May 31 (ANI): After the fuel price hikes took a tool on the pocket of citizens, the increased vegetable prices are ready to trouble. A day ahead of the nationwide farmers’ protest, the vegetable prices have gone up due to the shortage of supply. Since the farmers are about to hold this protest for 10 straight days, the prices are expected to go much higher. Earlier on May 30, the farmer groups, under the banner of the Rashtriya Kisan Mahasangh (RKM) announced the nationwide strike from June 1 to 10 demanding loan waiver, higher produce prices and implementation of the Swaminathan Commission’s recommendation on minimum support prices.
