Union Cabinet approves Fugitive Economic Offenders Bill 2018

New Delhi, March 01 (ANI): Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that the Union Cabinet has approved ‘Fugitive Economic Offenders Bill 2018’ in the Parliament on Thursday. Jaitley said that there will be scheduled offences attached to the bill. He added the fugitive offender is one against whom an arrest warrant has been issued with respect to a scheduled offence. He also said that the Cabinet has approved establishment of National Financial Reporting Authority (NFRA).
