Tata joins hand with Jayem Auto to launch electric car

New Delhi, Nov 24 (ANI): Tata Motors will soon launch electric vehicle ‘Neo’ after its collaboration with Coimbatore based Jayem Automotives. Jayem Auto will provide Tata with powertrain and motor for ‘Neo’. The 48-volt ‘Neo’ will have a range of 150 Km in a single charge with air conditioning switched on. Jayem is an independent automotive research and development company. Tata will use the chassis of Nano in ‘Neo’.
