Sweet shop owners in WB hopeful of making profit after CM Mamata provides relief in lockdown

Kolkata (WB), Apr 18 (ANI): Sweet makers in West Bengal took sigh of relief after state government’s decision to allow their shops to operate from eight hours every day from 8 am to 4pm, amid lockdown. The state government had earlier allowed sweet shops to operate for four hours from 12 noon to 4 pm every day. Confectioners who feared losses during the time window of 4 hrs can now hope for profit. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 255 COVID-19 cases have been reported in the state so far.
