Suzuki, Toyota join hands to produce electric cars in India by 2020

New Delhi, Nov 18 (ANI): Suzuki and Toyota Motor Corp joined hands to start manufacturing and selling electric cars in India by the year 2020. Earlier this year, Maruti Suzuki, India's biggest car manufacturer and world's second biggest Japanese carmaker Toyota signed an agreement to consider the prospects of collectively producing electric cars in India. The two car giants will work together on establishing human resource, charging stations and sales network in India.
