Sensex tanks 1023 points, HDFC Bank, Bajaj Finance slump

Mumbai, Feb 07 (ANI): The Indian equities markets benchmark Sensex slumped 1023 points on February 07. The 30 stock S&P BSE Sensex slumped 1023.63 points or 1.75 per cent to close at 57,621.19 points. The Sensex dipped to a low of 57,299.05 points in the intra-day. This is the third consecutive session of loss in the benchmark Sensex. The broader Nifty 50 of the National Stock Exchange tanked 302.70 points or 1.73 per cent to 17,213.60 points. There was heavy selling pressure in banking and financial, infra and IT stocks.
