Sensex, Nifty open at record high for 1st time ever

Mumbai, Aug 20 (ANI): The market on Monday saw a significant high as the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex crossed the 38,170.07 mark, while Nifty reclaimed the 11,527.80 mark. The sharp up move in Larsen & Toubro (L&T), HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries, HDFC, HUL and State Bank of India (SBI) shares led the key equity indices to record high in the opening session with L&T, HDFC Bank and RIL emerging as the biggest positive points contributors.
