RBI keeps repo rate unchanged at 4 pc

Mumbai, Oct 08 (ANI): While addressing a virtual press conference in Mumbai, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das on October 08 said that Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) has decided to maintain the repo rate unchanged at 4 per cent. He also said the reverse repo rate will continue to be 3.35 pc. “Reserve Bank of India keeps repo rate unchanged at 4%, maintains accommodative stance; reverse repo rate remains unchanged at 3.35%. Monetary Policy stance remains accommodative as long as necessary to revive and sustain growth and mitigate the impact of COVID19 pandemic while ensuring inflation remains within the target,” said RBI Governor.
