New Delhi, Jul 01 (ANI): Union Cabinet Minister Arun Jaitley joined the GST Celebrations being held at Dr Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi through live video conferencing, on Sunday. In his speech, Jaitley said, “Today marks the first anniversary of a monumental economic reform carried out in this country, the imposition of the Goods and Services Tax. The need for its imposition was very obvious, because prior to the first of July last year we unquestionably had one of the most complicated, if not one of the clumsiest direct tax system.”
