Nearly 34 crore bank accounts have been opened under Jan Dhan Yojana: President Kovind

New Delhi, Jan 31 (ANI): President Ram Nath Kovind on Thursday addressed the joint session of Parliament ahead of the Budget session 2019. He said nearly 34 crore bank accounts have been opened under Jan Dhan Yojana. Every family is now connected to the banking channels. Rs 88,000 crore deposited in these accounts is a proof that saving habits are changing in India. The Budget Session will conclude on February 13.
