India’s at 5% in global economy that isn’t doing well: CEA Subramanian

New Delhi, Aug 30 (ANI): The Chief Economic Advisor (CEA) K Subramanian addressed a press conference in the national capital on August 30. On being asked that ‘Mood in street is of despondency and it looks like government is in a denial mode’, CEA said, “The words we are using are associated with periods of recession and need to be careful in what we are talking about. There is slowdown but we still are at 5% in a global economy that is not doing very well.”
