Mumbai, Sep 02 (ANI): Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that through the inauguration of India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) the development will get a boost. During a speech, the CM said, “People used to think that in the times of e-mail, SMS, WhatsApp the importance of postal network will be finished. However, to strengthen this network and by turning the challenges into opportunities, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made it possible for the postal network to reach every village. Through this network development will get a boost.” The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday gave its approval for revision of the project outlay for setting up India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) from Rs. 800 crore to Rs. 1,435 crore.
