New Delhi, Jan 21 (ANI): Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) Chairman Shashi Shanker on Sunday said that the Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) is a very professionally well run company and so its independent identity will be maintained. While addressing the mediapersons at a conference, the ONGC Chairman added that as far as HPCL’s functioning is concern there is not going to be any major change. ONGC has agreed to acquire the government's entire 51.11% stake in Hindustan Petroleum for about Rs 37,000 crore in an all-cash deal that would close by end of this month.
