Hurricanes boost up Walmart’s sales

New Delhi, Nov 17 (ANI): Hurricanes lashing the southern United States of America have boosted up quarterly profits of supermarket chain Walmart. Sales have soared about 2.7 percent despite harsh weather conditions, according to Reuters. Food materials were also sold well in supermarket chain during hurricanes. Walmart’s online retailers, Bonobos and Jet.com, have also shown a positive response with a sales shot up to about 50 percent, according to reuters. Operating income has fell in the world’s largest retailer Walmart, but its’s earning has surpassed well over Wall Street’s estimates.
