Mumbai, Aug 01 (ANI): Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Urjit Patel on Wednesday informed that amid financial conditions and rising trade tensions, the Gross domestic product (GDP) of the country is projected at 7.4 per cent for this fiscal year. “7.5 to 7.6% in the first half of 2018-19 and 7.3 to 7.4% in the second half with risks evenly balanced,” said Patel. He also asserted that the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) has improved in the first two months with industrial growth strengthened in April.
